Create fun special effects and unique reborn skin tones and details without baking. WaterBorne® Iridescent Doll Colors are professional-quality, water-based vinyl paints developed especially for doll artists and reborners who want to let their hair down with CREATIVE effects!
No baking required. Thin WaterBorne® colors with distilled water, Flow Medium or Slo-Dri as needed. Allow layers to air dry naturally, or use a heat gun to speed drying between layers and details. Traditional reborn brushes and honeycomb-style sponges work beautifully with the system.

Important — prep your vinyl first. Proper surface preparation is essential for good paint adhesion. Bare vinyl (or baked polymer clay) should be thoroughly cleaned and properly prepared before painting. I recommend WaterBorne® Clear Base Coat and Surface Prep. Applying a sealer afterward cannot compensate for paint that did not adhere properly to the surface.
Once dry, WaterBorne® paint becomes permanent. Fresh paint can be removed with water for a short period after application, giving you some working time for corrections. Drying and curing times can vary, but I generally allow approximately 24 hours before rooting and completing final details.
