WaterBorne ™ BABY PORE TEXTURE MEDIUM, 1 oz. With Honeycomb Sponge
New Product! A brand new special effect medium from WaterBorne™. It is designed to be applied over dried WaterBorne ™ paints (can be used over any air dry paint) OR tinted with any acrylic paint to create the look of baby skin with tiny pores - extra realism is now yours to achieve. On some vinyls I tested, it was a little more shine than I prefer. If you have problems with that, a bit of Ultra Matte Sealer will cut the shine.
There are several kinds of sponge you can use. My favorite was either a honeycomb sponge or an elephant ear natural sea sponge (they have tiny pores in them already). Dampen it and then blot out any excess water. Apply a very small amount of the Baby Pore Texture to the sponge and pounce it on until you are happy with the effect. It doesn't take much. Maybe a pea-size amount each time. That should cover about a 3 inch area on the doll. Then move to the next area and so on. Overlap them just enough to blend together.
You can add distilled or purified water drop by drop if you want, and this medium is also easily tinted with a flesh color for a one step process.
Let it dry for about an hour, maybe less if you live in a dry environment, or when the heat is on.
