WaterBorne ™ Slo-Dri (retarding fluid), 2 oz. (available in 1/2 oz, 1 oz and 8 oz bottles)
Use this additive with WaterBorne BASIC, Tinting, and PreBlended colors to extend drying time. It increases transparency when blending and washing colors. It helps to reduce paint forming a skin on the palette. Cleans up with soap and water.
There are two ways to use it:
- Lightly moisten the brush with Retarder before picking up paint.
- Mix directly into colors beginning with a ratio of approximately 1 part Slo-Dri to 3 parts of color to delay the drying time of the paint.
Too much Slo-Dri can cause adhesion problems with your paint layers! I recommend you use not more than 10% to 50% Slo-Dri to paint.

Can't paint without it
Painting AA babies is very difficult..this slow dry gives me time to smooth out my paint and prevent patches..I simply cannot work without it.. customer for life

This is amazing stuff! I like the way it makes the paint easier to handle. Can't explain that any better -- it just seems to me that it is easier to work with when I use the Slo-Dri. I recommend this and the entire line to anyone.
