You're going to have so much fun letting your creative side go wild with these new WaterBorne Air Dry Iridescent Paints!  There are 5 colors, fully compatible with all of my WaterBorne range.  They can be thinned with water, SloDri or used straight from the jar (for the fullest intensity of color).  You can mix them with WB colors, paint them straight onto bare vinyl or paint them over other solid colors to add a wide range of special effects.  See the additional photos for some ideas! 

Create realistic reborn skin tones and details without baking. WaterBorne® Pre-Blended Doll Colors are professional-quality, matte, water-based vinyl paints developed especially for doll artists and reborners.

No baking required. Thin WaterBorne® colors with distilled water or Slo-Dri as needed. Allow layers to air dry naturally, or use a heat gun to speed drying between layers and details. Traditional reborn brushes and honeycomb-style sponges work beautifully with the system.

Important — prep your vinyl first. Proper surface preparation is essential for good paint adhesion. Bare vinyl (or baked polymer clay) should be thoroughly cleaned and properly prepared before painting. I recommend WaterBorne® Clear Base Coat Primer. Applying a sealer afterward cannot compensate for paint that did not adhere properly to the surface.

Once dry, WaterBorne® paint becomes permanent. Fresh paint can be removed with water for a short period after application, giving you some working time for corrections. Drying and curing times can vary, but I generally allow approximately 24–36 hours before rooting and completing final details.
