The WaterBorne® Primary Color Set includes three professional-quality air-dry colors that can be used individually or blended to create a wide range of custom colors for reborn and doll painting.
This set is especially useful for artists working with the Primary Color Method of reborn painting, in which transparent layers of primary colors are used to gradually develop realistic skin tones, undertones, mottling and other effects. Rather than relying entirely on pre-blended flesh colors, the artist builds and adjusts color through layering and mixing.
Set includes three ½ oz. colors:
Basic Yellow • Basic Blue • Basic Red
WaterBorne® colors are concentrated, matte and water-based. Thin with distilled water, Slo-Dri or Flow Medium as appropriate and apply in thin, translucent layers. Allow layers to air dry naturally—no baking required.
The Primary Color Set is also a convenient choice for artists who enjoy mixing their own shades or want these three fundamental colors without purchasing the complete Basic Color range.
