"Art & Magic of Reborns ©" Water Borne Paints  ~A brand-new AIR DRY Paint System from HunnyBuns~

PREBLENDED DOLLMAKING COLORS in 2 dram (7.4 ml) BOTTLES  (Also available in 1/2 ounce and 1 ounce bottles)

Use the Drop Down Menu to select the color you want.

These are matte vinyl paints in a wide range of colors specially selected for dollmakers, especially reborn artists.  Thin with water or acrylic medium of your choice.  Air dry or use your heatgun to dry layers and details extra-quick so you can move to the next layer.  **NO BAKING REQUIRED**

Paint can be removed with water within a few minutes of painting, but becomes more or less permanent after drying for a few hours.  Your mileage may vary.

YOU MUST PREP THE VINYL or (baked polymer clay) BEFORE PAINTING!  Without a proper prep coat on bare clean vinyl, failure is likely.  No amount of “sealing” the paint will work if the paint isn’t sticking in the first place.  I recommend WaterBorne Clear Base Coat and Surface Prep.  Please download or read these instructions before using WaterBorne paints:  FREE TUTORIAL   WaterBorne paints do NOT bead up when applied over the Clear Base coat.

All WaterBorne Pre-Blended Doll Colors and Basic Colors are intended to be thinned slightly with pure water.  I thin WaterBorne paints with distilled water to a transparent wash of color (except for Nailtip & Milia Color).  Each layer will dry in about 30 MIN. depending on humidity levels.  I apply all colors with a torn cosmetic sponge, honeycomb sponge or brush.

No final sealant is needed.  But if it makes you feel better to seal your doll, choose either WaterBorne © Ultra Matte Sealer.  Avoid oil-based sealants.

I haven't had the chance to use these paints but I have no doubt that I will be very pleased as I am with the rooting needles I purchased

I love the colors and I am looking forward to really getting into working on these to see if I like air dry rather than baking them
