Can be applied over cured Genesis paint to give a matte finish (no shine). It's not a sealer, and not necessary unless you want to eliminate shiny areas. If applied too thickly, it will create a sandpaper texture, so I recommend a very thin coat well spread out. It takes about 2 minutes longer to heatset than Genesis colors. You'll know if you didn't set it long enough by a chalky appearance.
It's wonderful for cutting the shine on silicone-vinyl dolls! Hurray, no more shiny babies :-) Since Genesis doesn't package a one ounce size, I repackage and relabel these jars myself, and they have the full instructions for use on the back label, just like the larger size.

This is one of my favorite products, I did learn that stirring it well first gave me a very nice consistent matte coverage, use thin layer.
