Sculpey Living Doll Polymer Clay, 1 lb LIGHT (Palest flesh color - good for fairies)
The European equivalent of Prosculpt is here! It looks and feels just like Prosculpt but MUCH softer! I love it, and Pat Moulton also gives this clay two thumbs up! Because of it's strength, fine tooling and detailing characteristics, it is frequently the chosen clay for making prototypes from which molds are made.
After curing in the oven, (NEVER microwave!!) SS Living Doll can be sanded, drilled carved and painted. Genesis heatset paints work extremely well. Paint should be applied in thin washes rather than thick coats for the best paint to clay bond. Living Doll bakes to a ceramic-like hardness and can be sanded to a fine smoothness. Other doll sculptors have given this clay raves, and I'm happy to be able to bring it to you.
Follow package directions for baking your finished sculpt right in your home oven. Polymer clay products should remain fresh if properly stored in a cool place, away from heat and direct sunlight.
**I now recommend using a dedicated convection type oven vented to the outside, if possible, to bake vinyl and polymer clay dolls. Heated vinyl and polymer clay release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and vaporized plasticizers which can be toxic with frequent exposure**

I used the product for the first time this week, and really like the way I can model it quickly after conditioning. There is one product I feel is superior, to my needs, but for many projects I will be using this as well. Very nice, bakes well, even skin consistency.
