Flesh 08, 1 oz jar
The lightest of the Flesh colors in the Genesis line, this is the foundation skin color I demonstrate on the DVDs and my book. Used alone (thinned with odorless thinner or Genesis thinning medium) it creates a semi-opaque foundation which makes further painting on nearly any doll kit easier. It can be tinted when necessary to do color correction on off colored vinyls. If used too heavily it can look chalky when dried, so use a light hand. It works well as the nail tipping color when mixed with Genesis glaze or thinning medium. A staple in the dollmaker's palette.
GENESIS® HEATSET PAINTS ~ These new paints are a reborn artist's dream come true! Why?
*There's no set up because the paint on the palette will never dry
*There's no rush because the paint stays wet and workable for as long as you want
*There's no waiting because Genesis® will dry in minutes, when YOU are ready
With your purchase of any Genesis paint product, you may also receive FREE emailed instructions on the proper use of these paints on dolls! Simply email me and request them.
ONE STOP SHOPPING FOR REBORN ARTISTS! I sell primarily the colors I use in reborning. If you wish to purchase other colors, simply email me and I can get it for you within a few days.
Genesis products MUST be heatset in an oven (regular or convection) at 265*F (130*C) or with a heatgun. I recommend using an oven thermometer to be sure that the paint reaches curing (drying) temperature. Once properly heatset, this paint becomes a permanent part of the vinyl or baked polymer clay! There is no fading or rub-off with Genesis paints.
