I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all, my valued customers, for a very successful 2009 at HunnyBuns Reborn Supply.  Without you, my store would not be the success that it is.  I strive to offer the best products, at the best prices, and at the fairest shipping rates possible.  I think this philosophy pays off.  Customer Service has always been my first priority. 

There will be some price increases.  Unavoidable, but I'm getting notices from many of my suppliers that in 2010, costs will be going up.  I wish it wasn't so, but we all bear the brunt of the slowed-down economy.  I'll promise to keep my increases as low as I can.

I can't believe another year has nearly come and gone, can you?  This one has been eventful - more so than usual, I guess!

As you may have seen, I'm lining up classes for 2010.  First I'll be teaching at IDEX/Tiny Treasures in January in Orlando, Florida.  Then, I'll be teaching an advanced class at MacPherson Arts and Crafts in St. Marys Ontario in the late spring (about May).  Then again a beginner's class at Sauder Village near Toledo Ohio next August. 

I'm feeling well these days and thank you to all who have taken the time to comment on my blog updates and send emails with your thoughts and prayers.  They are always very much appreciated.  I'm always amazed at how generous, kind and thoughtful people are!

Hopefully I'll have another new sculpt to show off soon.  I keep thinking "today's the day" but other things continue to get in the way of starting that new one.  Maybe for Christmas I should ask for another 6 hours in the day. 

Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving.  We had our first little snowfall in Ohio this morning.  It didn't amount to much but it was pretty for a while :-)

I had my tests done last week and according to my oncologist, I am in "complete remission"!
Thank you again for all your prayers, cards, emails, and phone calls.  They have been such an encouragement to me during this time.

I'm also happy to announce the birth of our third granddaughter on August 28:  Addison Grace Davis.



I'm hoping to get started soon on her portrait sculpt. 

Kendall is here, and first shipment has sold out except for about 3 kits! 
More are on the way and should be here any day.

I've been asked to do two more babies to "match" Kendall to make up a set of twins or triplets, so I may start work on that this weekend.

The Sauder Village class went well, attended by 10 students.  I'm looking forward to going back in 2010.

As for me, my PET scan came back clear - woo hoo!!  Now I have one more procedure to check me out in Sept. to
hopefully tell us that all the cancer is completely gone. 

Some good news! 

I'm feeling quite a lot better these days and my cancer treatments have been done for a little over a month now - hooray!! 
I'm really looking forward to getting up to Sauder Village for the class and a bit of "get away from it all" time.  It seems like my life has been on hold and hostage to the medical community for so long now.

Kendall prototypes arrived today and I will be proceeding with production on them ASAP.  Keep your eyes on the Front Page for news on arrival times and details.  Kendall will be a preemie sized finished baby at about 16" inches, with legs pulled up. 

Thank you again to all who have expressed their concern and prayers for me over the past few months.  It's very heartwarming to feel this outpouring of love from people around the world :-)

Good news!  I may have missed Tiny Treasures in San Antonio this year, but I'll be teaching a Beginners-Intermediate class the last weekend in July at Sauder Village Ohio.  This is one of my favorite venues for teaching!  The surrounding area is lovely, and Sauder Village has many artisanal crafts and an actual historic village making it a great weekend destination for the entire family.

I am doing so much better! 
I want to thank you all for your concern, prayers, good thoughts and cards and emails.  I'm just overwhelmed with the goodness and love that people are willing to share with me. 

My blood counts became dangerously low last week and I had to start a series of shots (Neupogen) to stimulate my marrow.  They also put my radiation on hold - again :-(

Well, I had healing prayer the same night of my first shot and don't you know....my blood counts were so improved the next day that the series of shots was cancelled and treatment resumed.  As of this morning's labs, my blood counts have nearly returned to normal! 

I now have only 4 days to go to finish my cancer treatments.  Yay, God!! 

Well, in my second round of chemo now and just a week and half to go with radiation.   It's tough and getting tougher by the day, but so far not unendurable.  My team of doctors and nurses have been phenomenal throughout.

I'm still working hard to keep up with store orders.  I keep thinking....just about another month and my life should be fairly well back to normal including my energy levels.    Thanks to all for your concern and patience :-)
